Daniel Lioneye is Linde (HIM) , Burton (HIM) and Bolton (Enochian Crescent) . Formed in 2001, their first release entitled The King of Rock 'n' Roll, released in Finland and Germany only, was a “tongue in cheek” psychedelic stoner rock album that actually garnered the group quite a bit of attention, a handful of festivals in Finland, and resulted in the title track being the theme song for Bam Margera's TV show, Viva La Bam. Usher in 2008, and Linde feels the need for another Daniel Lioneye album and wanted it to be completely different than the first. With a slight change in the group line up and always looking to push boundaries, the Daniel Lioneye takes a new direction. Simply called VOL. II and heavier than the previous album, Daniel Lioneye has created an extreme rock n' roll album with influences from black metal and personal turmoil including divorce, dealing with difficult situations and people, existential and religious crises, self-realization, sex, moving on, standing up for yourself, anger management and the universe. It's a representation of everyday life.
