STOLEN BABIES are a unique band in their own right, a talented act that has amassed a following with their energetic and freakish live shows. The band’s musical style is a cauldron of ideas that serves up a wonderful variety of vibrant styles meshed together into a pure chaotic frenzy. And it works.

With elements of gothic rock, industrial, punk and metal brewing within, it’s not hard to see why the band has been able to impress fans and critics who have stumbled upon their mischievously power-packed numbers. The band’s well-received debut release ‘There Be Squabbles Ahead’ will be released in digipak format on THE END RECORDS on October 3rd, 2006.

About signing with THE END RECORDS, Stolen Babies comment, “Signing with The End became the obvious choice for Stolen Babies. As a band with a very strong artistic vision we knew what we were looking for in a label and The End was the missing ingredient in our cupcake of madness!"

The band – who just finished up a string of successful shows with SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM on the West Coast – are going out on tour again this month with GIANT SQUID for a few select dates. The confirmed tour dates are:

BIO:
Once upon an awkward adolescence, there was a girl that tripped often and spoke very little, a boy who ate too much junk food, but spoke a lot, and his identical twin that hit things and spoke even more. Then along came a pianist with very wiggly fingers and a baseball bat. Hence...the musical misadventures unfolded.

It all started with "The Fratellis," Stolen Babies' original 12+ member group. Horns blared, oversized dolls jumped out of toy boxes, squabbles were had, babies were stolen, turned into flies and fed to giant spiders. Eventually, the blundering theatrics came to an end, but the four stuck together.
