Creature with the Atom Brain will release their sophomore album, TRANSYLVANIA, on February 2, 2010, marking their debut on The End Records. Creature with the Atom Brain, once the solo project of Aldo Strufy (Millionaire, The Mark Lanegan Band) has transformed into a four-piece band consisting of members from Millionaire, Evil Superstars and Mauro and The Grooms. Often compared to acts such as The Thirteenth Floor Elevators and Queens Of The Stone Age, TRANSYLVANIA boasts Creatures’ blend of psychedelia, garage rock and hypnotizing grooves, with what NME describes as “a heady, psychotropic descent into the underworld of drone.” This Is Fake DIY go on to  say “Creature With The Atom Brain are one part 'vintage rock' and two parts 'Desert Session', making a burly cocktail of lysergic grunge-fuelled 6 minute guitar romps, with plenty of monster riffage and a hard-edge shine.” TRANSYLVANIA was mixed by Chris Goss (Masters Of Reality, Kyuss and Qotsa). The band is fresh off a European tour with The Dead Weather, and has shared the stage with The Jesus and Mary Chain, Queens Of The Stone Age, and The Butthole Surfers.
