Kjetil Nordhus, lead singer for Norway’s prog metal masters Green Carnation, recently spoke the Associated Press (print and digital format) about the band’s latest release ‘Acoustic Verses’ (on The End Records in North America).
About the band’s shift from prog rock to a much more scaled down acoustic setting, he commented, "I know that we ask a lot for our fans with every album, but I think that's how it should be. This album was a lot different, but that was our point." The singer is also confident fans will enjoy the album. "It's the strong melodies, for some people it's the very strong lyrics as well, and it's the melancholy vibe, you know?
