....I mean, we are already at the third album and It would be wonderful to have a DVD or, even better, a live tour of this combo. Think about it!!!

Ya that sounds like a sweet idea, maybe they could make a music video 2?
But I guess a DvD would be awsome, if there was one id definatly try and grab a copy.
Kepp up with the good idea's!

mmm, i would like it as much as you but its next to impossible i think,,i mean they live in 3 different countries, probably have day jobs (carl works in that audio thingy, i dont know the rest tho) and winds,,as great as it is, needs more following to start a serious tour,,,,plus the fact that they would need at least a string quartet or someting,,

doubt it. they said before that it would just be a giant mess to get all the instruments in the same area... think about it.. symphonies and shit

I don't see this as a possibility.
although I can't deny I would love to see Winds on tour.
Age Of Silence on tour would be awesome too, although I remember Andy mentioning not having any thpoughts of ever doing this.
too bad really.
Looking forward to the New Winds and the new Age Of Silence.
ps. First post on the new forum, it looks good (not much different from the UM one :p)

well,,seeing as lazare has like a billion side projects i doubt hed be able to tour with AoS,,plus the fact that their songs contain such complex vocal harmonies imposible to recreate live, unless everyone in the band could sing lol

Man, I want touring AoS. Borknagar tours, why can't AoS :( I like AoS better than Bork...

i guess borknagar gets to tour cuz theyve been around longer and have had more time to build a large enough public to b able to make touring affordable. i wonder how many thousand dollars go even on a small tour.

To much for me! ahahah! If it's any help I think I have $1.25 in my pocket. If I had a couple thousand dollars id be spendin it on new amps, guitar ect. Or just party, everyone should have the right to party hah hah hah. Even if Winds becomes a hudge hit, I dout I would ever see them here in Canada, my towns probably to small. But I guess thats life.

When I interviewed Andy awhile back he said touring wasn't in the forseeable future. But if it were to happen in North America I'd be there in heartbeat.

and what bout the other memebers? are hellhammer, carl and lars into touring or not?

Maybe it's not so easy to see Winds, but you can easily see some of the members at least.
Jan Axel (Hellhammer) and Lars tour all the time with their respective bands. Jan Axel with Arcturus and Mayhem, and Lars with Before The Dawn and Honcho. Check their websites for tour dates in your area:
www.thetruemayhem.com
www.arcturus.no
www.honcho.no
www.beforethedawn.com
As far as Carl and myself, we don't tour much (or actually at all) right now, but you may still run into us if you are in the right place at the right time.
For example, Carl just got back from Los Angeles and was at the NAMM show, and I'll be in Vancouver again in a few weeks supervising the mastering of Carl's band Tritonus.
Of course, the best way if you want to meet Carl is to buy some audio products from his company in Norway: www.audio-media.no
As for myself I'm regularly checking out the forums so getting a hold of me is always easy enough, even though meeting me in person might prove more difficult!
Regards,
Andy

I live about an hour and a half away from Vancouver, but I don't have time to try and hunt Andy down. As cool as it would be to meet Andy, I just couldn't see it happening unless we had a reason to meet.
Touring would still be really cool for them to do.
